Is there any ESD requirement for the number of ground points and the
distance between grounding for a roll of floor or worksurface ESD matting?

Gene,
Sorry for the delay in answering. We researched the question and can find no standards which set the distance between grounding points. The only requirements are that a common grounding point be supplied on work benches.
I think this was left to the manufacturer to set the resistance to ground
by the resistivity of the mat.
