Question
Need to know, if there is a particular relative humidity level that negates the use of smocks. If so, is there a MIL-STANDARD or MIL-SPECIFICATION stating such. - Travis Barfield, Raytheon Systems Company, Norfolk, VG
Answer
Relative Humidity, though it can help minimize the probability of ESD events, should not be used as a control measure and should not be used as a substitute for any other personnel grounding technique.
