What is an acceptable resistance range for "dissipative" worksurface? We have a couple surfaces that measure ~ 1G Ohm. Is this an acceptable resistance? - Jim , Madison, WI
Answer
Yes, 1 gigohm is OK, but not much higher than that though...you would need to calculate the decay rate and body movement to make sure the charged decayed faster than your body moved.
